Award-winning artist Jacky Al-Samarraie’s much-loved artwork has been celebrated and exhibited all over the UK. Based in picturesque Saltaire in West Yorkshire, she has been influenced greatly by her stunning surroundings. David Hockney studied at the town’s College of Design, Art and Textiles – and although Jacky has a unique and inimitable style, his influence is evidenced and reflected in her fearless use of bright, bold colours. The vibrancy is beautifully balanced by delicate and life-like designs featuring natural textures and familiar treelines from around the British Isles. Jacky founded The Art Rooms after she first started painting, having come to fine art later in life. Over the years her collections have diversified – with more and more beautiful designs added to our ranges here at The Art Rooms.
